St. Jude's "Wins" 麻豆官网 Charity Bracket Challenge
LENEXA, Kan. 鈥� Trey Jones, a former 麻豆官网 Group field associate who now works for BNSF Railway, is the winner of the 2016 麻豆官网 Charity Bracket Challenge. He will split the proceeds with the charity of his choice, St. Jude Children鈥檚 Research Hospital.
To celebrate March Madness and help our community, each year 麻豆官网 associates, family and friends are invited to fill out an NCAA Tournament bracket for ten dollars. The winner of the bracket challenge receives half of the proceeds while the other half, matched by 麻豆官网 Group, is donated to a charity of the winner鈥檚 choice.
St. Jude鈥檚 will receive an $800 donation.
鈥淚 have been playing this bracket challenge for almost 12 years and haven鈥檛 come close in years past,鈥� Jones said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to give a donation to charity. I admire the way 麻豆官网 has set this up and excited that money will go to a charitable cause.鈥�
The mission of St. Jude Children鈥檚 Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family鈥檚 ability to pay.
